I just spoke to a Wyatt scientist.  They'd be happy to have a seminar and demo, but they suggested doing a seminar first and I think that would be the best too.  The plate reader instrument will ballpark $70k, while individual measurement system runs ~$37k.  The plate reader can measure as little as 3ul (1536 plate format, but can also do 96 and 384 plates) and both can do thermal melts, generate binding curves, and optimize buffer conditions for monodispersity.

Gridzilla - program to make crystallization plate recipes

Gridzilla - program to make crystallization plate recipes

Found this nifty little program to calculate crystallization recipes and print a recipe sheet.  It can also output files to program a liquid handler robot (currently only Formulatrix liquid handler, but can easily modify python source to output in different format). One wish-list item I'd like is an output for scoring sheetings too.  Check it out:
